Update and apology

Happy New Year Everyone!!! 2015 is here and I'm feeling pretty darn good about it :)

Unfortunately last month didn't exactly go to plans, as many of you already noticed if you've been a follower for awhile. Usually it's a month full of giving back to you, and something I truly love and enjoy having as part of my tradition. I must admit, I was a bit lost not having the advent and 12 days going on, but then again the whole holiday season and month was nothing short of different and new for all of my family.

As you may already know, we relocated from Ohio to Montana this past August :D

It has been an incredible experience since leaving Ohio, to say the least. My whole perspective on life has changed, things are happier, life seems magical and I feel whole. We got a fresh start, a true one and I have finally learned to "Let it Go!" - hey, we're Frozen fans too ;)

The end of November we were hit with some news (I can't exactly discuss as of yet due to upcoming court) that left us scrambling to move, yet again.

I will admit, I was a bit stressed at first.  We were needing to move, with no place to go, no means to really make it happen since we just spent all our savings a few months back to get here in the first place   and we just weren't prepared for that kind of hit. I feared living in a van and no Christmas even at all at first. This year though, for the first time ever, I just breathed and said "It's all going to work out- This time of year is magical and I know magic is about to happen"
Sure enough, it did.
We got a place, we were blessed with help moving, blessed with Christmas help and just all around love and amazing blessings to turn the situation from grim, to one that I couldn't have ever imagined for my family. All I can say is God is good, and he had a plan for us!

So the first week of December was full of packing, hauling, cleaning, moving and just madness. We got into our new home, and then the following week was unpacking, cleaning and decorating to prepare for Christmas. Seriously- anyone who moves during the holiday season is pretty glutton for a lot of work and running around like a chicken without their head!!
But the designer part of me was in love with all the decorating- I finally got to have more than 1 tree and had the task of turning the house around with basic decorations flowers, pine and lights. I felt like I was scrapbooking my house with all the clustering and piecing together- But I loved it!

So anyways, we finally got our internet turned on here at the new house right before Christmas (Merry Christmas to me!! I was happy dancing!!) But since it was so late, I decided to just spend the time relaxing with the family since the kids were home, and just breath and revel in the reason for the season.

I invited some of our church family over for a dinner, as I'm still used to cooking huge meals and I have to admit, it was amazing. The kids all said "best Christmas ever!" and it was so nice celebrating with our new family here. *Plus I got to skype my family in Ohio :)*

So, I'm very sorry for not being able to do the countdown and 12 days like I usually do. Life happened, as it always does, but I plan on doing a month of love and giving anyways. So raincheck has moved it to a countdown of Love- we'll countdown to Valentines and share in the joy of giving and loving that way. (Plus- Christmas can be celebrated ALL year round.....the reason that is, so the show will go on.....just a little late ;)

I'll be preparing that in the next few weeks and we'll get it started on the 14th :)

Much Love to you all, I hope your Holidays were amazing, full of love and blessings and ended 2014 on an amazing note.
