8 days down!

 Rain Rain, Go away!

I feel like chanting it, as it seems to be another weekend full of dreary days. Thankfully we got the light show out of the way yesterday!I would however still like to take the kids out on a horse carriage ride through the town before Christmas creeps up on us. Here's hoping for a dry day soon :)

Secret Santa was a bust at school for shopping. They sold out before the girls' classes got the chance to go down shopping, so tomorrow we are going out so they can do their holiday gift shopping.  So instead of shopping (due to the rain) tonight we read Junie B - Dumb Bunny.  (Roxy is IN LOVE with her) Then we had an indoor picnic and watched Cinderella.

Not to shabby of an evening despite plan changes. Now to brave the weekend crowds tomorrow and get the rest of all the lists checked off 0.o
At least I know I can bake tomorrow night. Got the butterhorn dough done and chilling- YAY!

Now what you all are waiting for. Today's gift contains two parts. Please make sure you click both links to gather it fully.

With 8 Days down and only 17 to go:
~*~sorry this gift has been opened~*~

Please note this download will remain valid for 24 hours.
Until December 8th 11:59 pm EST
At that point, it will be revealed, placed in the shop and a new gift will be given.

And for those that missed yesterday's gift- Here is what was hiding inside:

It is now available in my shop for just $1.
*Please note* Gifts 1-7 that are currently in my shop will revert to full price on Monday Dec. 10th

Thank you so much once again everyone for your kind comments, and I am glad you have been enjoying so far. My question tonight, since I am checking off wishlists tomorrow,  is "What are you wanting most for Christmas?"

Much Love!

Hey do I get to be the first comment? WOOT! Thanks for another lovely gift! I'm sorry you didn't get your shopping done but glad you were able to have a nice evening anyway :)

I don't want any 'things' for Christmas. My family is really fractured right now - my step brother made some questionable decisions last year and we haven't seen him since. Which was upsetting, but since my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a couple of weeks ago, I'm realizing that the opportunity for the family to be together and make memories that include my dad is running out. So what I wan is for everyone to find a way to put hurt feelings aside (and that includes me) so we can start spending that oh-so-short family time together.

After losing my job of 30 years and having to take a minimum wage job I am wishing for a better paying job where I can support my family again. I wish we would get some rain in my area we really really need it. I can't believe Secret Santa sold out. I hope you enjoy your shopping trip with the children. Thanks for today's download. It's great as always.

Sounds like you had a wonderful-memory making evening! Enjoy those sweet times :) I miss them so much! The only thing I want for Christmas is for our 19 year-old daughter to move back home.
Thank you so much for all of these lovely, wonderful gifts! <3

You're such an amazing Mom Liz. I hope you get a chance to go on the horse carriage ride. Thanks for all the wonderful kits you have been sharing. They are gorgeous. As far as my wish list, all I want is that our old dog Dillon, who is nearly 13 and has gone blind and deaf, remains healthy (otherwise) and happy throughout the New Year.

Thanks again for another beautiful gift. I have a sweet tooth, and I love these alphas.

And I'm glad you had a sweet evening with your family.

Without sounding like a Miss America contestant and wanting peace on earth, I don't have any "thing" on my list. Reading some of the above posts, I realize again how blessed I am. Our kids and grandkids should all be with us for Christmas, and that makes for a wonderful Christmas.

Oh, wait! I did think of something! Would it be too much to ask for a picture of us all together -- or even a picture of the six grandkids together -- where everyone is looking at the camera, behaving, not making faces, no tongues sticking out, etc. :) Yes, in our family, that is probably asking too much. : )

What I am wishing for most is "less": less drama, less "stuff", less stress. I love my family dearly but "oh vey!" they can wear you out :)
I am praying for more grace, more peace and a whole bunch of happiness.

Wishing many blessings to you and your family as you enjoy the season

oh yeah... thank you so much for the wonderful treats. I got started late and so appreciated that you gave us such a deal on the kits I missed

Happy Holidays!

I'm sure you'll get a rainless day before Christmas. :) Thanks for today's goodies. For Christmas, I would like my dd to move back from California but that won't happen--she likes it out there. I also wish our dog weren't sick. She has an appt. Mon. with a new vet because she's been sick for months so I give up on the old one. Saying a prayer for those looking for jobs and for healing in their families.

Last year while all & I mean ALL of our family from both sides were here at our home the last 7 years from us moving to the "woods" literally they have all come here in campers ,blowup beds tents for kids etc ... You`d think we had opened up a campground on our property..PRICELESS...Last year since Im the LOADEST VOICE of both families I made the announcement that this is what Christmas is all about it has NOTHING to do with exchanging of gifts its just US BEING TOGETHER ...Our get`togethers are all year long we take advantage of ever 4 day weekend & Holiday that we can especially with our elders even though great granny who is as she says (98 but who`s counting)even though we have to reintroduce her to her gg grandkids ...Its just a great comical moment ...We are all just happy and I hope everyone can find that same happiness as we do... THANK YOU ;~} from crystalnva

Thank you Liz for another great gift.

I just want everyone to be happy and get along. My husband did buy me a Keurig which we have already opened and been using. But I'll be pretty happy to just spend time with my family and spoil my two year old for Christmas.

Thank you again for another fabulous gift! We have no family nearby and do not like to travel over the holidays, so am looking forward to the peace and quiet of cooking for two (and of course the dogs). We no longer exchange gifts so no hassle there! But will have 4 Christmas trees decorated - each with a part of our lives: 30-60 year old ornaments; a Harley tree, a Southwest tree and a dog bow tree (yes the dogs get one too!)

I want to get my house back in order after fiber optic construction crews drilled a hole in our sewer line and pumped our basement full of mud. It has almost been 2 months and we are still not back to normal. Thanks for the great gift!

Thank you for the alphas and for this thread - who knew that a simple question would produce such varied responses. So sad to see how many people need jobs or healing within their families. I send a prayer out for you all. My husband's job finishes on Dec 31st but we heard today that he has a new one starting mid January so all is well! Here's hoping the good fortune will rub off on the others above!! Other than that I'd like a sucessful Turkey! It is the first year ever that Christmas is at our house (I'm 49!!).
